Update: After using this page to order my parts I found a few minor corrections. Please see the Corrections section below for details.

This page is to be considerd BETA at this point in time. The page is functional howerver the accuracy of the BOM's themselves has not yet been verified. The BOM's were originally created by AE6VK based on the official BOM but sourcing more parts from Mouser to take advantage of lower minimum quanties. I have made further changes to those BOM's to attempt to correct any errors. I have confirmed that each part on the official BOM appears here in the proper value/quantity but have not yet built a Janus based upon this data. Where there was a conflict between the data AE6VK provided and the official BOM I used the official schematics to verify the proper parts, in some cases overriding the official BOM based on the official Schematics.

Additionally I am still adding data on individual component pricing and the ability to duplicate a project in a way that will minimize the number of additional pieces but still maximize quantity discounts. There are a number of other advanced features I'd like to implement as I have time. But my first priority right now is making the page usable and getting the BOM's used confirmed hopefully by building my own Janus.

HPSDR Janus

This is the HPSDR Janus Board ordering form for Digi-Key and Mouser. It will allow you to easily purchase most of the parts required to assemble a Janus PCB. Note that some additional parts will be required, as noted near the bottom of this page.

Change any quantities to the numbers you want. On the Mouser order form you can not select '0' for the quantity - any parts you do not wish to order you will have to remove from your card on the mouser website. Default quantities are as required for HPSDR Janus Board plus any additional required to meet minimum requirements. Once you are happy with the quantities click the button to send your order to Digi-Key and also for Mouser. If the default quantities are used, the price for the 'Janus Board parts' from Digi-Key should be $35.94, and $35.19 from Mouser for a total of $71.13 as of May 2007.

To order complete the following steps:

Updates and Corrections

6/3/07 - For orders placed through this page prior to this date please watch for the following:
- D1 - Though listed as a BAT54 the Mouser part number was actually for a BAT54A. The A part can be used but must be mounted differently due to the pin assignments being different. The Janus build manual will have details on this. The mouser part number has been corrected on this page for all future orders.
- JPx - The 2 and 3 position pin headers from Mouser (22-28-4030 and 22-28-4020) did not get their customer part numbers assigned correctly. They are listed correctly in the mouser cart, but did not get printed on my packages. Not a big issue as these are easy parts to identify, but something to watch out for.
- C33:C56:C66 - The mouser part number listed is NOT correct. The current part number is for 47u parts not 10n. I will correct this as soon as I have time to find the proper part number.

XO1 was provided in the TAPR partial kit for Janus - As this part costs nearly $10 those who already purchased a partial kit will likely want to remove it from their order to save money. Due to the way Mousers order page functions you can not just set the quantity to 0 above, you will have to remove the item from your order once you are taken to Mousers website.
